The newest iOS 11.3 update enables a feature that asks if you're sure you want to delete a text message/iMessage once you choose the delete option. It's making me crazy! I tried searching through the settings to remove this deletion confirmation, but can't find anything on the topic. Is there any way to remove this feature?

Agreed - this is obnoxious and unnecessary. PLEASE allow it to be disabled, or better yet enable the ability to delete messages with a full swipe in the same way the Mail app does, without the need to swipe and then click delete.

Your reply made my day! All I was doing was voicing an opinion. All Apple needs to do is give us the option as to how we want to manage deletions.
They're not going to do it.
