Apple mail is looping email

I send an email and it started looping eternally.

It keeps popping up. Can't close the email, can't go to the outbox to delete the mail. It keeps popping up.

Contacted provider, no problems at their end.

Deleted all my accounts in mail, but the email is stil teher and keeps popping up.

Can't do anything in Apple mail (restarted programm several times and retarted macbook pro (high sierra 10.13.3) several times....didn't help.

How can I stop this loop and use mail again?

Thanks for that info and choosing the Apple Support Communities. Based on what you stated, it seems you are experiencing issues with the Mail app on your MacBook Pro, even after trying some good troubleshooting steps. Next, use safe mode to start up your Mac as it does the following things:

Verifies your startup disk and attempts to repair directory issues, if needed

Loads only required kernel extensions

Prevents startup items and login items from opening automatically

Disables user-installed fonts

Deletes font caches, kernel cache, and other system cache files

Log into your user account and try sending or deleting this stuck outgoing email while in safe mode.

Use safe mode to isolate issues with your Mac
Limited graphics performance in OS X recovery or safe mode
