Unable to add more volume to startup disk

Hi, I want to add more storage to startup disk. This was my diskutil list before:

/dev/disk0 (internal, physical):

#: TYPE NAME SIZE IDENTIFIER

0: GUID_partition_scheme *121.3 GB
disk0

1: EFI EFI 209.7 MB
disk0s1

2: Apple_APFS Container disk3 40.6 GB disk0s2

3: Apple_APFS Container disk2 39.5 GB disk0s5

/dev/disk2 (synthesized):

#: TYPE NAME SIZE IDENTIFIER

0: APFS Container Scheme - +39.5 GB disk2

Physical Store disk0s5

1: APFS Volume Study 29.7 GB disk2s1

2: APFS Volume Preboot 20.6 MB disk2s2

3: APFS Volume Recovery 520.8 MB
disk2s3

4: APFS Volume VM 3.2 GB disk2s4

/dev/disk3 (synthesized):

#: TYPE NAME SIZE IDENTIFIER

0: APFS Container Scheme - +40.6 GB disk3

Physical Store disk0s2

Then I ran this command

diskutil apfs deleteContainer disk0s2

After that container disk3 got deleted

/dev/disk0 (internal, physical):

#: TYPE NAME SIZE IDENTIFIER

0: GUID_partition_scheme *121.3 GB
disk0

1: EFI EFI 209.7 MB
disk0s1

2: Apple_HFS Untitled 81.5 GB disk0s2

3: Apple_APFS Container disk2 39.5 GB disk0s5

/dev/disk2 (synthesized):

#: TYPE NAME SIZE IDENTIFIER

0: APFS Container Scheme - +39.5 GB disk2

Physical Store disk0s5

1: APFS Volume Study 29.7 GB disk2s1

2: APFS Volume Preboot 20.6 MB disk2s2

3: APFS Volume Recovery 520.8 MB
disk2s3

4: APFS Volume VM 3.2 GB disk2s4

Then I ran this command

sudo diskutil eraseVolume "Free Space" %noformat% /dev/disk0s2

After that disk0s2 got deleted. Now I'm not able to find the free space, which I want to add into disk2 which is my startup disk.

/dev/disk0 (internal, physical):

#: TYPE NAME SIZE IDENTIFIER

0: GUID_partition_scheme *121.3 GB
disk0

1: EFI EFI 209.7 MB
disk0s1

2: Apple_APFS Container disk2 39.5 GB disk0s5

/dev/disk2 (synthesized):

#: TYPE NAME SIZE IDENTIFIER

0: APFS Container Scheme - +39.5 GB disk2

Physical Store disk0s5

1: APFS Volume Study 29.7 GB disk2s1

2: APFS Volume Preboot 20.6 MB disk2s2

3: APFS Volume Recovery 520.8 MB
disk2s3

4: APFS Volume VM 3.2 GB disk2s4

Can anyone suggest me how to increase the size of disk2 which is my startup disk.

MacBook Air, macOS High Sierra (10.13.1)
