Since installing High Sierra My iMac 21.5 (Mid 2010) Model A1311 boots only up to the chime. But no picture to sign in. I was wondering if something is wrong with Graphics Card (ATI Radeon HD 4670) ?

It will run on the machine however there may be some other hardware issue. If you provided more detail of what happens when you attempt to boot that will help. I suspect that your HD may have failed or it may be something as simple as a corrupt download or install.

There are definitely errors with this graphics card, and High Sierra, in general. Can no longer control iMac's display brightness what-so-ever since updating to 10.13.0. I have confirmed this on two separate machines.
Here is the problem: I took my iMac W8042BFXDAS to apple store. They tried to boot and connected to separate monitor but still a blank screen. They thought that the logic board needs to be replaced. But because my computer is more than 5 years old and Apple does not support this model, the could not help me. I took the computer to an independent Mac service shop and replaced the logic board but the problem is still there. They suspect that it may be the graphics card because the diagnostic light on the logic board related to the Graphics board did not light up. This led to suspect that it could be the graphics card or a glitch with the operating system. Since the computer does not boot up the Mac diagnostic can't be run. It does not boot up in the safe mode! I wonder if any other iMac user has experience similar issues.
Does OS 10.13.3 support ATI Radeon HD 4670 w 256 MB - Apple P/N 661-5314 Video Card ?
