S/W update install started overnight, isn’t doing anything

Hello-

I have a new (couple of weeks old) MacBook Pro, 15” Laptop.

Since I can’t open it, I assume I have ISO 11.2.5.

I opened the cover this morning, it says it’s “installing software update”. I don’t know what software it’s updating, since is started while I was sleeping.

Nothing is happening, it’s been 2 hours now.

Any suggestions on what I should do?

I just did a speed test on my internet- 298 mbps d/l and 11 mbps u/l. I am connected with wifi.

Thanks.

Try restarting, the install should pick up from where it left off.

(iOS 11.2.5 is for iPhones and iPads, not Mac. You probably have High Sierra 10.13.x)

If that doesn't work and you purchased from apple you have 90 days of free telephone support.
