Apple does not have a trade-in program for the iPod Touch. It can be recycled but they don't offer any reimbursement for the iPod Touch: Renew and Recycling - Apple

No, there's a trade in program for smartphones. Apple will accept your device for recycling but unless it is within the 14 day return period you are better off selling it if you can.
