Back button go back to the start of song?

Is it possible to set the back button on my computer to to the start of the current song on the first press, (and then back to the previous song if it is pressed) on itunes? Its currently a windows 10 HP PC running itunes.

I used to have a mac a while back and I believe it used to do this if i remember correctly?

I inadvertently deleted a tune from my iTunes library on my computer. I inadvertently deleted a tune from my iTunes library on my laptop as it was duplicated there but one copy would not play. As luck would have it, I deleted the working copy. I then found that the working copy was still on my iPod so I did a sync thinking that it would be moved from the iPod back to the laptop. WRONG. However, I found the deleted copy in the Trash. Quite obviously, I'm not knowledgeable in such matters, so I decided to ask here for advice before I mess it up any further. How can I get the song back to my iTunes library on the laptop and then back onto the iPod as well? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

How can I repair my On the Go playlist? Somehow my On-the-Go playlist in iTunes on my desktop computer has lost 2/3rds of its songs. The full list is still on my iPod Classic. Do I understand correctly that there is no "reverse sync" from the iPod to the computer? Is there any alternative to rebuilding the list from scratch?

itunes not advancing from song to song Sadly, owing to an accounting package I have to have, I'm stuck at 10.14.6. Heretofore, this hasn't been an issue, but I'm finding today that iTunes isn't playing songs in sequential order as it should. When I bring up mini player, it's put the same song in there 20x. Anyone else having this issue, or know what to do about it??? TIA. Eric

I don't believe any customization of behaviour is possible, but that is exactly what I see. As long as three seconds have elapsed pressing the rewind button during playback goes back to the start of the current song, otherwise it goes to the previous song or stops playback if you were on the first track.
