Lenrich keyboard

I just bought a new IPad Pro 12.9 and a Lenrich Bluetooth keyboard to go with it. I had the IPad Pro 2015 previously also with a keyboard. This is so aggravating, but the iPad can not keep up with the keyboard. So, it ends up putting periods everywhere, double spacing everywhere, and if I try to use a comma, it inserts 3 commas. I really would have expected the NEW iPad to preform better than the 2015 version, but that just simply isn’t the case. I have seen where numerous others are having th same problem, so I know it is not just my keyboard. I am getting so tired of all the “apple issues”, constant updates, and bug fixes, that after 10 years I am about to give up on Apple. When I got the Ipad in and opened the box, the first thing that popped up was a “Need to update” message. Seriously??? It just arrived!! That should have been a sign to return it promptly. And dont even get me started on the colossal disaster of the iPhone X that I am now stuck with for 2 years. Does anyone know of a way to fix the wireless keyboard issue?? Or, do i have to wait for Apple to get around to sending out a “bug fix” update?

I would think before the iPad is packaged they pre-load the latest iOS version at the time. The "Need to Update" message just means it detected an iOS update is needed because it doesn't have the latest version since it was sitting in a warehouse or somewhere untouched and idle before arriving at your doorstep. This is not unusual. I'm sure Android devices do that, too.

I would test other wireless keyboards (a friend's, if need be) before using other people's anecdotes to pile on to what you're experiencing and conclude that the iPad is defective (3 commas, etc.). Sounds like a Bluetooth hiccup to me. It could well be defective (somehow slipped through quality control), but it's best to do that test before going through all the hassles of having it looked at an Apple store or replacing or refunding the thing.

No problems with my iPhone X. I didn't want to be stuck for 2 years, though, and paid it off right away... Good luck with both your iPad and iPhone. Hope your issues get resolved.
