iTunes on my iMac
My iPhone 6 no longer automatically opens iTunes on my iMac when I plug it in to sync or backup. Can anyone tell me how to get it to do so?
Thanks!

I'm afraid I haven't done it myself but that looks right.

When a device is connected and iTunes is running then from the device's summary page you should be able to set an option to launch iTunes when the device is connected.

I have that option on in settings, but it still doesn't open iTunes soon my computer.
Try turning the option off, Close iTunes. Then try turning it on again. Check for the presence of iTunes Helper in your startup items.

I'm not savvy enough to understand what to do. Thanks anyway.
I just followed the steps in Kevin's instructions, and they worked! Thank you for persisting, when I didn't understand your directions. I am most grateful!
You're welcome. 🙂
