I'm being told to update my iOS to version10.0 when I'm trying to get snapchat from the App Store and I can't find any update in my software update

Are you sure its a iPhone 6? The latest version that works on a iPhone 6/6 Plus is the latest iOS 11.2.6
Where are you getting the message saying you need a later iOS version? Can you provide a screenshot?
What iPhone do you have? If its a older phone the latest iOS updates cannot be installed.

What does it say under Settings > General > Software updates? what iOS does it say your on? is there a download available?
No download available it say version 9.3.2
