Why can’t the iPhone 7plus have portriat lighting

The iPhone 8 has the same camera as the 7plus and I have the 7plus and I want portrait ligtung but I don’t want to buy the 8plus or the x because my phone is personally fine

The iPhone 8 has a newer, more powerful processor. The 7 and 7 Plus can't handle the requirements of Portrait lighting.
