iTunes could not copy "file" to the iPhone "iphone name" because the file could not be read

I am new to iPhones. Coming from the Android world. I just got a new iPhone X. When I try to load my iTunes playlist to the new iPhone I get this error: iTunes could not copy "filename" to the iPhone "iphone name" because the file could not be read. I do not get the error on my iPod. My iTunes playlists load without errors on my iPod. I tried running SyncToy as suggested in one of the answers to this problem, and SyncToy did not find any errors in the iTunes files. Any help is greatly appreciated.

iPhone X, iOS 11.2.6

Yes, I successfully copied the contents of the iTunes folder to another drive without any issues (i.e., errors) regarding the files that could not be read.

  1. I followed your advice and removed the iTunes folder from Norton Security active scan. Restarted my computer, and I still get the same error when I tried to copy the iTunes playlists to my iPhone X
  2. Then I disabled Norton Security (i.e., disabled smart firewall, and disabled auto-protect). I still get the same error message

The interesting thing is that every time iTunes generates the error is while copying on a different file (i.e., song)

I want to repeat that this error does not happen with my iPod, and it did not happened when I copied playlists from iTunes to my Android phone.
