why is iPad pro restarting in safari and other apps?

I purchased a reburbished iPad Pro a couple of days ago. I was looking at apps and organizing folders. When opening a couple of apps, then iPad restarted. I went to request a call with Apple and couldn’t because The safari kept restarting. Apple is exchanging for a new refurbished but wondering if the QA on these items good and if I’m just going to have this problem again. Anyone have thoughts?

These types of issues are rare.

Apple's refurbished products are treated as new with all of the same available warranty options.

Apple in Cupertino does all repairs on refurbished iPads and undergoes very strict quality control.

You should strongly consider purchasing two-year extended AppleCare+ now or within 60 days of your initial purchase.
