iPhone 12pro shut down apps by “fake restart”

My iPhone 12pro has started glitching and in past few days A LOT. Latest thing was while using safari, it quit the app, showed a spinning wheel in the middle of the screen as if it was restarting the phone, and after about 2 seconds, it went straight to Home Screen. Phone didn’t end up restarting, it just made it look like it.

I understand it’s not much, but I’m talking about the latest iphone...

anyone knows what’s happening to it?

btw, it’s up to date, and it’s on automatic updates.

iPhone 12 Pro, iOS 14

Firstly uninstall any VPN or "security" apps which can do this.

Most of the time glitches can be cleared with one forced restart:

Press and quickly release the volume up button, press and quickly release the volume down button, then press and hold the side button. When the Apple logo appears, release the button.

After that you are looking at backing up then restoring the phone to factory and restoring the backup - a long process.
