Komplete Kontrol Plugin Crashes Logic Scanning at Startup (Every Time)
Hello,
For some reason I can't get Native Instruments' Komplete Kontrol to work correctly in Logic Pro X. I have tried in both 10.3 and 10.4 now. When I open Logic it wants to scan 2 plugins, but then crashes. If I "Abort Scan", I can open Logic, and in the Plugin manager it shows two Komplete Kontrol entries, both "version 1.8.3", even though I have version 1.9.3 in reality.
I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling Komplete Kontrol as well. If I select these two plugins and hit reset and rescan, the first one fails to validate at all, while the second one successfully validates. I can then use the Komplete Kontrol plugins (of which there are four available, two Stereo and two Multi-Output). It seems to work, though my Komplete Kontrol MK2 does not recognize the plugin or allow the browser (which may be a separate issue). No matter what, even if I had unselected "use" in the plugin manager, or disable failed audio units, when I open Logic again, it still tries to scan these two plugins and crashes the app.
I have already tried removing the plugin from the components folder, launching, and then replacing, and it still does the same thing. I also deleted some audiounitscache files and logic preference files. Do I need to try again? Or is there another solution?
Thanks,
-Josh
