My ipod

I love my iPhone X and I also love my iPod 4th gen.Is there any way I can get an update to play Apple Music on it please lol

Updating to iOS 9 and above I wanted to download a free offline music player on the App store. When I tried to download any it either says the iPod is not compatible or I need iOS 9 or above.
