Hello! Every night after I put my Apple TV 4th generation to sleep mode I wake up and it has turned itself back on and my Samsung tv. They are wired with an infrared cable and I can use the Apple remote to control both the tv and Apple TV. Is there a bug or an issue with anything that I should keep an eye out for? Or something I can do to correct this issue?

Sorry to hear about your issues with the Apple TV 4K turning the TV on by itself. One thing I know othe people have experienced is that it seems to happen when Apps are left running in the background - in particular Netflix. I’m not sure if it’s an issue with the firmware on the Apple TV or whether it’s an issue with Netflix but maybe try closing apps and see if it happens then?

I've had this same issue, but only twice. I'm on the latest version of appleTV os as of this posting.
