Apple TV loses connection to remote when it sleeps

Apple TV now loses connection to the remote every time it sleeps since tvOS 13. Is there a fix or do we have to wait for Apple to wake up and realize the issue?

Please use the Menu button on the Siri Remote, instead of the touch surface, to wake the device.
