Not able to delete folder in launchpad

Dear team,

I am facing issue with deleting a folder which is not able to delete after removing its application; whenever try to delete, an error appears that it has already moved or deleted, but still shows in launchpad.

Please suggest.

MacBook Air (13-inch, Early 2015), macOS High Sierra (10.13)

Duplicate folder/file was created and can't be selected When I create a new folder or file on the desktop, a duplicate folder with the same name shows up, and it cannot be selected or deleted. Same behavior if I create the folder in Finder. Is there any solution to this problem?
