Final cut pro x no camera inport with High sierra

I use iMac 27 inch late 2012 3,4 ghz intel core i7, 8GB 1600 DDR3, video card NVIDIA GeForce GTX 2GB

Camera type Panasonic HC-X90

Final cut pro x 10,4

since my update to higt sierra I can not get files in final cut pro x

final cut show the files ,but does not start the inport

Can you help my for this problem ?

Why since updating to Mojave my Sony DVCAM camera & DSR V10 no longer recognized by Final Cut Pro Before updating my OS from High Sierra, I could transfer via firewire 800 to thunderbolt 3 video from my DVCAM 250 camera & DSR V10 Mini DV & DVCAM deck. Now, with Mojave (10.14.6), Final Cut Pro (10.4.6) sees the camera and deck, but no image appears and no control of the camera or deck or import. What could be the problem? I can use iMovie to see and control the camera and deck, but iMovie is so limited when comes to directing the media to my video editing drives (7200) which are for video editing. To me iMovie is a waste of time. Final Cut was working so well with these Sony analog equipment. I have restarted, shut down, reconnected thunderbolt and firewire connections and restarted Final Cut Pro. I have not check for any of those "phist" files though. Thanks for any input.

SSD in FCPX showing up as a camera when importing Hi, Whenever I plug in my SSD to edit in FCPX, it always shows up as a camera when I import. This means that allll the files on it just appear and I can’t search through file directories on it. Does anyone one know how I can make it show up under “devices” and not “cameras”?

Cannot import video from Canon Legria G40 Running FCP 10.4 ,iMac 27" OS High Sierra 10.13.4Camera is recognised and I can import still images but not clips.When I select video for import, the thumbnail appears in the library but with a black white edged circle so that the video clip remains on the camera but not imported.This is a new finding since with the exactly the same system, I could previously import video.When I look at the background task panel, importing media remains permanently at 0%.I would be grateful for suggestions/ solutions.
