Email scams

if you get any emails from your banks or Apple, and they request information or they contain a short cut to their sites, Only log in via a search engine, never via the email short cuts.

Phishing is a huge problem and it will happen to even the smartest. Slow down, think about what is being told to you. If you haven’t made a purchase, then it’s a scam to get you to give information freely. If someone calls you from your bank, call them back from another phone if possible, scammers can and do intercept your calls and texts.

i get several phishing emails a month. You can stop them trying, but you can stop them getting your information by ignoring them, follow simple rules of internet security.

On buying online, If an advert looks too good to be true, then it’s not. Don’t let greed be your undoing, you can’t con an honest person.
