Looks like no one’s replied in a while. To start the conversation again, simply ask a new question.

This seems to be a security issue with Apple Pay.

This happens when my iPhone 6+ has lain idle and the screen is locked.

I hit the home button, and notifications are sometimes showing.

I instinctively double tap the home button to clear them, and my apple pay appears.

I cancel the apple pay because I don’t want it, and my home screen opens.

I can then use any app and have never input my PIN or touchID.

I see this as being a bug in that I have my settings to double click to get to Apple pay without ID, but I think it should not go to my home page after that, it should remain locked to other activity until I put in my PIN or touchID. I think people are expecting to only be able to get to Apple pay this way and not their whole phone including their email.

Is this a security issue or no?

Thanks

iPhone 6 Plus, iOS 11.2.6
