[solution]iPhone music suddenly not in Itunes

So I suddenly found that large amounts of my music was missing from my iTunes on my computer, but not my iphone. When I hooked up my iphone, the computer's iTunes only showed even less songs on my iphone, so syncing wouldn't work!

After some fussing, I checked my iCloud account, and re-signed into that to be sure: and THAT did the trick! MY music is showing on both my iphone and iTunes again! (My iCloud account prob got signed out of during an upgrade.)

So make sure BOTH iTunes and iCloud accounts are signed into!

Apple music will not play My computer will not play any of my downloaded songs from Apple Music however my iPhone, iPad and old iPod touch (havent used it in 3~ years, haven't checked if it actually has though) can play my downloaded music. My computer has deleted all of the songs that I downloaded, bar the songs which I have bought (either in CD form or from iTunes). I've tried restarting my computer, logging in and out of my Apple ID, though from what I can see, im still logged into Apple Music. Apparently iCloud is synced up and all devices are the same (they are not). I'm pretty annoyed since I've had the account since 2017, and had worked up a collection of nearly 500 songs and would hate to sit and download them all again. Hope someone has a solution. itunes deleted my music So have been avoiding connecting my iphone to my new macbook for this very reason, but just connected to add a song to my itunes library on my phone. I made sure I selected "manually manage music" and itunes STILL took it upon itself to delete most of my library of carefully curated music and playlists. It's so insanely frustrating that hours and hours of time spent is just gone because of a new computer.This is not the first time this sort of thing has happened either. It makes me hate that our only option these days is itunes. makes me miss the 90s.other than reloading every item from a hard drive and spending hoursremaking my playlists i don't see any other option, if there is one please let me know.Thanks

iTunes not showing music stored in the iCloud Hope someone can help with this, I've got a feeling this could be a common problem! I opened iTunes this morning on my PC and for some reason Apple wouldn't recognise my password - so after numerous attempts I reset it. (My password was deffo correct) So I then began that well-trodden circle of fun which is going around changing the password in all my synced devices.So, on my iPhone, iPad & Apple TV it shows all my cloud music (I subscribe to Apple Match), but for some reason my iTunes on my PC refuses to follow suit. It only shows me the stuff that's saved locally, its so frustrating. (Especially as I've recently discovered a box of old cd's that I want to load up into the cloud and not keep cluttered on my PC)Any advice on how I can get my iTunes to start showing me all my music again?
