Apple Music over bluetooth stutter when app switching on iphone x

Adding my voice to this issue and that is crazy that the iphone x is having issues that didnt appear on my 7S, same iOS versions.

I am linking my X to my 2015 Mini Countryman (yes its a terrible tech stack in general), and playing music through Apple Music (over LTE). When I swipe and switch from Apple Music back to Waze, or bring up the app options via swipe, I get a very noticeable stutter in the bt music from the phone to the car.

Never noticed this before till the X, and have re-paired the phone/car multiple times.

I havent noticed any stutter or skipping when Waze or any other data heavy app is active, its just when switching apps, even if Apple Music isnt the active app.
