How can I publish my books to ibooks from my computer? I do not have a Mac.
I don't own a Mac, but want to put my books on ibooks. How do I do this? Is there a windows version of iBooks Author?
To add to what Tom said, iBooks Author is not required to submit books to the iBooks Store. You can submit EPUBs created from any a multitude of applications or hand code it yourself.
iBooks Author is the only program that will get you an .ibooks formatted file, however, you can submit .epub or .ibooks.
You will need access to a Mac however, the software used to submit the book "iTunes Producer" is a Mac only application.
