Hi, I received an email from qjcvyrp@qjcvyr.apple.com saying that my Apple ID has been locked for security reasons. I want to know is tjis really Apple that is sending me this email? The email address looks abit odd.

Apple e-mails address you by your real name, not something like "Dear Customer" or "Dear Client".

Apple e-mails originate from @apple.com or @itunes.com but I think it is easy to spoof a sender address

Mouse over (do not click) links to see if they direct to real Apple web sites.
