Update apple id settings

Hi, I have been getting "update apple id settings" message on top of setting app. When I click on it, it says "verification failed. There was a problem connecting to the server". I have tried restarting my phone and log out as well. It won't even let me log out. It will say "problem connection to icloud" - again. It happened suddenly when I went to Thailand and put Thai Sim Card in the phone. Before I went, my phone was up to date on IOS. Please help. 😢

iPhone 7, iOS 11.2.6

Do you have access to another network where you can try to log in? That has worked for several people.

What has also worked for some is trying 10 + times in a row.

Try a forced restart.

Reset Device

Reset – iPhone 7

Hard reset

That is one option that has worked for some people. Another option is trying Apple ID Support.

Apple Support by e-mail or chat Select your device, Battery, Power and Charging, then Power adapter not working to get a chat option. If you need to talk to them, ask them if they will do a Skype or FaceTime with you.

Hi,

So update: I tried restarting for the last time and used work wifi to try again. It worked -.- So may be it was looking for the last connected wifi..? I’m not so sure. Anyway, thank you for the swift replies.
