Some contacts lost

I upgraded on my Series 7 iphone to the 11.2.6 software.

After doing that I lost a TON of contacts. Some of them I can find again when I try to type a text message to Patti for example, but when I go into contacts to look for Patti, she isn't there.

Help!

Contacts lost upon update to iOS 14.3 I’ve lost my contacts in the contact list after updating to 14.3. The contacts are still there when I use text messaging however not on the phone - and it will not bring up the contact name when I receive texts etc . I’ve tried all the online tricks to try to get them back - network settings- turning off/on phone -and iCloud held another family phone’s contacts - not mine. Any suggestions? thanks

Missing Contacts I have an iPhone 11 Pro Max with iOs 13.5.1 I lost some of my contacts, although they still appear on my call log or if one of the lost contacts calls me or text me It still shows the name of the contact on my call log or messages. I went to my iCloud account and refreshed my contacts, but still the problem persists. The iCloud contacts show the missing contacts on my iPhone, but still they're missing from the iPhone. What can I do?

Disappearing contacts Many, many contacts missing from my contact list. However, if a contact calls, the correct name is displayed. If I dial the number ( as I did with a Doctor) the name is displayed. But I can’t search for or find these people in contacts. Tried erasing all contacts and re-populated from the cloud. That seemed to work for a bit ( at least a week). But now missing again. Of note, I can specifically identify 2 contacts that went missing/repopulated/ now missing. So it may be that there is something in common with the missing contacts. Any ideas would be appreciated. Iphone11, up to date iOS, I do not pay for storage.
