Skype Memory Leak, macOS High Sierra

About 30 minutes ago, I opened up Activity Monitor because everything was really slow, and I noticed Skype was consuming over 16GB of memory. So I quit Skype.

I left Activity Monitor open and I opened Skype again... It started at around 160MB.

I hid Skype, cmd+h, but every 5 minutes or so Skype would unhide itself and increase memory consumption by about 20MB.

This last time, after about 30 minutes in total had passed, when it unhid itself, memory consumption increased to 5.56GB!

I can't be certain, but this only seems to happen if you leave Skype on the landing (home) screen where the ad displays.
