Garage Band Project has gone silent

Hi,

i've been working on a song for a few weeks and it was playing fine a few days ago but not the whole projects won't play with any sound. I have tried to copy and paste a component into a different project and the component worked in that project but do not make any sound on the existing one... It's as i have muted the track but i have checked my setting i think and I can't find anything that would indicate this. Please help

Garage Band not playing audio track I have a Garage Band project with imported tracks. One is a piano midi, the other an AIFF recording of a vocal. When I click Play in Garage Band the piano plays, but the vocal is completely missing. This is what Garage Band looks like. What might have gone wrong? What can I do? Cant create empty an audio track When I create a new audio track, no audio will play until I add a preset logic channel strip setting. Even using one of my custom channel strip settings will still make no sound. The live playback is silent and after recording it will sound like nothing too. Not sure if this is related, but when I disconnect all busses from a track the track will become silent as well. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Why isn't GarageBand recording sound? GarageBand is not recording sound for me. I have tried all of the input and output combination, I have checked preferences, and made sure the track isn't muted, but it looks like the sound isn't even registering. I cannot hear upon playback, but it also doesn't display a waveform for the sound — it appears to be empty. I have included a screenshot of this. I would appreciate your help.
