Phone 8 is taking too long to charge and has poor battery life

I recently bough iphone 8.

Even with new phone with nothing installed it took 3 hours to charge and it is worse now in a month.

it takes more than 3 hours to charge and battery drains in 5 hours if i watch a video or play game.

I switched from Andriod cos of battery issues. Atleast in android battery life start to deteriorate after years of usage. But iphone right from day 1 the battery doesnt even last a day. I have iphone X too. And it is the same issue.

Disappointed with apple product.
