so I don't really know how to exactly show what is happening so I have a short clip up on youtube showing the laptop shutting down in slow-motion and as the fan slows down you can start to see the fan spinning in the wrong way

The direction of spin depends on whether the direction the air is blowing. Those types of fans can blow air or exhaust it. Also may depend on the blades' cant or if it's mounted on one side or the other which would reverse the cant of the blades.
Are you sure it isn't an optical illusion? You could see that kind of thing in old film reels and wagon wheels.
It is supposed to be blowing the air out the back under the hinge. If it is doing that job, it can be spinning whatever way it wants -- it is accomplishing its job.
What makes you believe the fan is spinning in the wrong direction? It is spinning counter-clockwise. Did it spin differently in the past?
Well i dont know actually but it just didn’t seem right.
It just seems more efficient to go the other direction
It seems like an optical illusion but it really is isn’t
You can see it in the end of the video when it comes to a stop
Oh and if you follow the 3 dots in the middle you can see it verry clear

I won't worry because its spinning and still doing its job by cooling the processor its no big deal
