After updating to 11.2.6, a new text sporadically plays the associated text tone. About 50% of the time I get no tone at all. It seems entirely random. I turned on EmergenCY Bypass setting and I am still having text come in and not play a sound. Anyone else having this issue? Any ideas?
After an hour of frustration, I think I figured out the issue. After the recent update to iWatch / iPhone, the devices aren't working together for notifications correctly. I changed the watch settings so that notifications do not mirror the iPhone and then the text tones starting working again.
Just tried that. Still no sound/notification on my iPhone X.
