iPad Pro Mail App Cutting Off Both Sides of Message Body When Replying

Just wondering if anyone has any suggestions. Ipad Pro on latest version of iOS11. When using the Pro in landscape (with a keyboard), when I reply to a message and the reply window pops up, both the left and right side of the body of the message are cut off by two - four characters on both sides. The fields at the top show correctly (Subject, From, etc.).

For example, if I type "Hello" only "llo" will show on the screen. This ONLY happens in landscape and doesn't seem to impact new messages, only replies.

Does anyone have any suggestions of what this may be caused by?
