Hello. Yesterday I purchased lightning dock for iPhone 5c although I have SE. The seller told me it will work with se. When I put my phone on the dock it fits but doesn’t charge. When I mogę the phone around and press it and hold - it starts to charge. Is this problem due to the fact that this dock is precisely for 5c? Shouldn’t it work with se as well as they are the same size?
Is this an Apple charging dock? If not there might be an adjustment screw under the base that may allow you to loosen the lightning connection and extend it a bit, then retighten it. I have a charging base that allows for this.
It should, the lightning connection should be the same for both phones, try using a different cable and see if it might be the SE or is the cable/connection bad on the dock.
The cable is ok as I have used it for a week now. And as I said, once I press the phone and move it more to the front - it charges. Once I release it from my hold, charging stops
It is an Apple dock and the cable is apple as well
I guess my dock must have some kind of problem. I bought it brand mew, foiled and sealed. The „stick” in the dock should be in a more upright position - I think that is the problem
