apple tv 1st gen won't accept my password

Once again, apple tv 1st gen won't accept my password so I can't connect to the itunes store even though it says i'm logged in!!!

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.7.2)

Apple TV can't sign into iTunes Store Apple TV 2nd Gen keeps saying wrong ID or password when signing in to iTunes store, despite it being the correct ID and password. I know, I know, but really they are correct. Any one had this issue ?
