Apple Password at Start up
when i turn on my new iMac, it requires my Apple password. My previous iMac did
not require a password. How do I set this to not require a password?

Apple password or user password? Try System Preferences/Users & Groups, unlock the padlock, select your account, and click Login Options. Turn Automatic login on for the desired account.
