Alarm not working

Hi guys. I’m at my wits end. My alarm is hit and miss. Many mornings. Despite my volume being on max and the alarm tone set as ‘radar’ it just does not sound. It lights up to notify me on the screen. But no sound. Then I wake up 2 hours late. Missed all my appointments. And my alarm is on the screen still ‘going off’ and giving me the option to stop or snooze. Apple support can’t help.
