Hello Kristen,
Thank you for using Apple Support Communities!
I understand from your post that you would like your music to play continuously. Adding your music to the play next queue will allow your music to play continuously:
Add music to your queue to play next - Apple Support
In the Music app, find a song, album, or playlist that you want to listen to after what's currently playing. Press firmly on the item to use 3D Touch and tap Play Next or Play Later. If you don't use 3D Touch, tap an album or playlist, then tap
on your iOS device or
on your Android phone and choose Play Next or Play Later. The song or songs on the album or playlist add to your Up Next queue. Any music that you choose to play next will appear at the top of the queue, and any that you choose to play later will appear at the bottom of the queue.
To view your Up Next queue, tap or swipe up on the player at the bottom of the screen to open Now Playing, then scroll down. To reorder your queue, press
then drag any song up or down. To remove an item from Up Next, swipe left on it, then tap Remove.
If you choose to play a new album or playlist, you'll see the option to keep or clear your Up Next queue.
You can also create a queue of podcasts episodes in the Podcasts app for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.
Best Regards.
