Macbook air 2016 model screen flickering

My MacBook started having lines on the left side and bottom about an inch thick today all the sudden, it hasn't been dropped it is a business computer and stays on a desk. i am assuming LCD needs to be replaced? since not under warranty what is the cost and is it quick?? again it is a business computer i use daily and need.
