iTunes credit info hacked

My iTunes credit info has been hacked twice in a week—have had to cancel both cards—how is this happening and how can I prevent it in future?? Please help!!

My credit card was hacked by Itunes. com Dear Apple, On 8 December 2020, my card has automatically made 3 payment transactions for Itunes.com. I didn't know that until i checked my balance.
