Message Likes always Notify even with DND set

I have a group conversation with Do Not Disturb (Hide Alerts) set. New messages do no alert me but those dumb Likes and Laughs still do. I've read the answers to similar threads but the answer is always to turn off alerts. This does not work for the Likes to a message. Is there a way to stop these annoying alerts? I have an iPhone 6S+ with the latest iOS.

Group text alerts keep hiding themselves I have a group text with 3 other people. Recently, I stopped receiving alerts for this chat thread on my phone. I clicked on "Info" for the group text and turned "Hide Alerts" OFF. Later I realized it had turned itself back on. I swiped left on the group text and un-muted it. ' At first, this seemed to work. But I also sync messages with an iPad. For the next new message in this group, I read and responded to it on my iPad. And then, I noticed the group text was once again muted on my phone. The muting only happens on my phone, and only with this group text. Do Not Disturb is only enabled overnight, and I can't find anything other settings (Notifications, Messages, or the Contact for each person) that might be causing this problem. I'm using an iPhone 12 and iPad Air, both running iOS 14.4.

Do not disturb mode Hello, so I don’t know why but when I use to put my iPhone on do not disturbe it would show me only the notifications of the two people I had selected to receive iMessages from. But now it’s showing messages from other people that I have not selected to and I basically want to know why this has been happening and I don’t know how to fix it

Do not disturb icon I have iPhone 7 running version 14.4.2. How do I get rid of Do not disturb. It is only on one text message from one of my contacts. There is no “I” or Do Not Disturb showing when I open their conversation. I never get message notifications from that contact. Help please.
