Identify Please!

Can someone help me to identify the language written here:

'%s: %s\n'.

I would like to have this detangled so that I can read it. There is code being used in my Mac that is controlling everything and I am presented with examples of the above code when I try to search out the hacker. Another example here:

Cannot get information about volume '%s' - %s

update_timer_for_er: next: %f target: %f

update_timer_for_er: added timer for %f

update_timer_for_er: Failed to create timer for %f

update_timer_for_er_cb: Skipping cb on context %p

update_timer_for_er_cb: context %p compairing deadline %f with now %f next %f

It is far worse than this, so please if you can, tell me what code I can use in terminal or other to remove this.
