Mail on Mac

I have just cleared my 'Mail' inbox and as a result it has cleared my Gmail inbox.

Do you know how I can retrieve the emails on my Gmail account?

If you cleared your INBOX the emails should be in your TRASH box. Also, look under ALL MAIL (or ARCHIVED MAIL).
