Trash deleting too soon.

I have delete trash after 1 month set, but it is deleting after 8 days. What can I do?

MacBook Pro, iOS 10.3.3

Hi Margaret,

You can preset your Mac to empty Trash that is over 30 days old automatically under managing storage via the following:

Empty Trash Automatically

Empty Trash Automatically permanently deletes files that have been in the Trash for more than 30 days.

How and where did you select that preference? I think you're asking about Finder Preferences > Advanced. Please confirm.
