Peristent Network MIDI connection after restart?-(repost)

I am using MacOS X's native MIDI over IP tools to initiate a session between two machines for a fixed installation and am having some problems with a persistent connection between the two. Is there any way to have the virtual MIDI devices (the two computers) re-establish their connection after a restart? I've scoured the net, but can't find a way to make this happen.

The connection is between a MBP running 10.13.3 and an iConnectivity Mio 4 interface with 4 network ports. I have everything set up so that it works once I manually connect each mio network port to each separate network session. Works great! Problem is that if my machine crashes or has to be rebooted during a live performance it takes too long to have to manually re-establish the connection.

Please advise.

Thanks!
