macbook pro keyboard is acting weird

Hello all,

The keyboard of my Macbook Pro (Retina, 15-inch Mid-2014) has been acting weird for the past couple of days. The 'g' key is often unresponsive when I try to type it (it takes multiple tries for it to show up when I type it) and then that unresponsive letter will often appear when I am typing using other keys. Has anyone else experienced this issue before? Does this sound like a hardware or software issue? Thanks in advance for sharing any insights you may have!

For example, When I type the letter "I" it will type it twice, not type it at all or be delayed and insert the letter later on in the word. Middle row of keys on MacBook keyboard suddenly became unresponsive The middle row of letters keys on my MacBook don’t respond at all—letters a-l and the modifier keys in that row. Does this indicate any particular reason/cause of the problem or a likely solution? The other keys work fine. A non-Apple external keyboard is working for now, but it’s cumbersome, so I would like to fix the built-in keyboard.

Keyboard problems with MacBook Pro My keyboard has the odd key intermittently sticking. The laptop is not very old, and I believe that this is now a well-recognised issue. Also the keyboard is quite noisy which is annoying especially when in public places. What should I do?Michael
