I updated my iphone 6 to the latest update and now my wifi button will not slide on to connect. I've restarted my phone and have even gotten my iphone antenna replaced. Will Apple give me a new iphone 6 for free due to their update messing up my phone?

Who replaced your iPhone antenna? If you had an issue and had a 3rd party open the device and work on it, Apple will no longer service that device. They will replace nothing.

Nope. The update is not the issue.

FWIW, all my iPhone 5s, 6, 6s, 6s Plus, 7 and 8 Plus are all on iOS 11.2.6 and are running fine.
