How to assign midi control codes to hardware parameters

Hello,

I am trying to assign modulation (CC1) to a hardware parameter. When I try to use the "learn assignments" tab, the only parameter I have been able to set is volume or pan. What am I missing?

MacBook Pro, iOS 10.3.3

Try this:

1. Move the parameter you want to control, i.e. Compressor threshold.

2. Press Command - L on your keyboard to invoke the Learn command.

3. Start wiggling the knob or joystick that is set to send CC1 on your

controller.

4. Close the MIDI Learn window and you should be set.

Hope that helps.
