Retrieve password for encryption

I installed Iexplorer and my first back up is encrypted. I tried every password which could be a possibility. This is on my pc, so the password is not saved on my phone. It does not offer a way to reset your password. Is there a way to retrieve this password?

Are you talking about your iTunes encrypted password that is used for backups? If so, then see the "If you can’t remember the password for your encrypted backup" and "Turn off iTunes backup encryption" sections in:
